MFC appoints new chief of operations

WASHINGTON, DC, FEBRUARY 1, 2016—Social performance management leader MFC has named Krista Hendry as its new chief of operations.

Hendry, formerly the executive director of the Fund for Peace, brings more than a decade’s experience working with companies and civil society on peace and human rights issues and will build MFC’s capacity to help companies and funders find ways to implement international standards in conflict and fragile areas.

“It’s an exciting time to work with individuals and organizations on how to prevent and manage conflict issues,” she said. “We’re increasingly seeing funders focus on the kind of tools we’ve developed at MFC that help successfully implement international standards.

Hendry will be responsible for MFC’s consulting operations with the exception of its ‘social EPC’ programs.
